Mars Simulator: the MARS+ simulator capable of generating a multi-drone / multi-platform scenario in which individual drones perform a virtual and configurable mission and the system, through a real-time planner (DSS), manages drone pitstops guaranteeing both the refill of liquids and petrol to assure 24×7 operations. The system is able to manage the priority of use of a platform to the drone that has the greatest need for petrol. Furthermore, the system is able to manage the case in which a platform, due to a failure, becomes unreachable and reprograms and diverts the drones to other platforms or activates their emergency landing procedures.

The simulator is available on GitHub and runs with Dockers.
